Super XI winsSuper XI defeated New Cricket Cub by five wickets in the Guntur District Cricket Association T-20 tournament for Annamraju Rukmabai and Annamraju Lakshmi Narasimha Memorial Trophy at Guntur on Tuesday. The scores: BNR XI 82 in 20 overs bt PRCA XI 72 in 19 overs (Raja Rao four for 15). New Cricket Club 82 in 16 overs (Sujith five for five) lost to Super XI 83 for five (Nazeer 39 n.o). Prakasam and Nalgonda take the honoursPrakasam beat Srikakulam 29-27, 23-25, 15-10 to lift the boys’ volleyball title in the AP rural tournament that concluded at Movva on Monday night. In the girls’ final, Nalgonda defeated Krishna 22-25, 25-16, 15-12. In the kabaddi final in girls’ section, Guntur defeated Krishna 24-19 while Nalgonda beat Guntur 28-22 to win the boys honours.
