NELLORE: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Nellore Region has introduced ‘Sheetala Hamsa’ air-conditioned buses from Nellore to Tirupati. The shuttle services were launched for first time in the region. Municipal Administration Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy flagged off the two new bus services at the RTC bus station in the city on Friday. The 42-seater buses will make three trips each a day. The single stop service (halt at Venkatagiri) will reach Tirupati from Nellore in two-and-half hours, according to RTC officials. Advanced reservation facility is available for the new buses, said Nellore Regional Manager P.Seshagiri Rao.
