SRIKAKULAM: Chief Minister K. Rosaiah will visit Srikakulam district on January 23. It will be his first visit to the district after taking over the reigns of the State. According to his tentative itinerary received at the Collectorate, the Chief Minister will land at the market yard, Palakonda, by 10.30 a.m. and lay the foundation stone for the modernisation works of Thotapalli irrigation project by 10.45 a.m. He will distribute economic benefits to the members of self-help groups (SHGs) and address a public meeting. The Chief Minister will leave Palakonda by 12.30 p.m. and reach Srikakulam by 1.15 p.m. Road worksAfter rest, the Chief Minister will leave the R&B guest house by 3.35 p.m. and lay foundation stones for the bypass road and road widening works in the town. Mr. Rosaiah will address a meeting at the Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences at 4.20 p.m., reach Indira Vignana Bhavan by 6.30 p.m. and interact with party functionaries. He will return to the R&B guest house by 8 p.m. and retire for the day. On January 24, Mr. Rosaiah will interact with media persons by 8 a.m. and leave for Hyderabad by 8.30 a.m.
