Hubli: Divisional Railway Manager of Hubli Division of South Western Railway Adesh Sharma has said it is the duty of every parent to get their children vaccinated. Speaking at the Pulse Polio immunisation programme organised by the Railway Health and Family Welfare Department here recently, he said that 747 children belonging to families of railway employees and 1,121 other children were given the polio vaccine in the specially set up booths at the railway colonies and the railway station. Hariharan, Chief Medical Superintendent of Railway Central Hospital, Renuka S. Kuchinad, Senior Divisional Medical Officer were present.
