Five new swine flu cases in Capital

New Delhi: Five new swine flu cases were reported in the Capital on Saturday, a health official said.

“There were five new swine flu cases, including a child, reported on Saturday. There were no deaths reported,” said Anjana Prakash, assistant nodal officer for swine flu in the Capital.

The new cases take the total number of infections in the city so far to 9,589, the highest in the country.

On Friday, a 55-year-old woman succumbed to the disease, taking the toll due to Influenza A (H1N1) in Delhi to 89.
