TEMPERATURE:

MINIMUM: The minimum temperatures fell in Haryana and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 00.8■C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 18th January 2010: Weather will be mainly dry over the region. After 24 hours isolated rain/snow is likely in Jammu and Kashmir. Mainly dry weather in the rest of the region.
