Sirsi: Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri has said that the final list of provisionally selected primary and high schoolteachers in the State would be announced in the first week of February. He was speaking to presspersons after a function at Kalave village near here on Sunday and said that the process of finalising the provisional list had kicked off. The Minister said that before issuing the final appointment order, the documents for verification would be taken in the last week of February or in early March. In April, counselling would be held and thereafter the final appointment order would be issued. TrainingIn April-end / May, appointees would be asked to undergo training and on completion, they would have to report to their duties at their respective allotted schools in June, he said. For in-service primary and secondary schoolteachers, counselling would be held in April before effecting the transfer. Many good suggestions have come from teachers which would be included while setting revised counselling guidelines, he said..
