Bellary: Activists of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) staged a demonstration here on Monday. They were protesting against the lack of amenities in the government-run hostel for Scheduled Castes and Tribes at Hospet in Bellary district. H. Pradeep, member of the State executive committee, said in a release that sub-standard food was being provided and it lacked drinking water facility. Besides, cleanliness was not maintained in the hostel. — Staff Correspondent
