Kozhikode: Senior Congress leader N.P. Moideen has submitted to the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leadership his report on the recent incidents at Manjeri involving party leader Rajmohan Unnithan. Speaking to The Hindu on Monday, he confirmed he had sent the report to the KPCC earlier in the day. “It is up to the KPCC leadership to take a decision on the report,” Mr. Moideen said. He did not divulge the details of the report but said in answer to questions that “nothing seemed to have happened there (at the house in Manjeri from where Mr. Unnithan and a Seva Dal worker were taken into police custody after local people who had surrounded the place alleged they were involved in immoral activities). Mr. Moideen pointed out that there was nothing to support the allegation in the medical report prepared soon after they were taken into custody. He said in the course of his inquiry, he had talked to DCC leaders in Malappuram, Mr.Unnithan, the woman who was with him and the residents in the neighbourhood of the house at Manjeri where Mr. Unnithan and the woman were found.
