Harish sparkles
CHENNAI: Helped by an unbeaten 239 by S. Harish Babu, Tiruvallur beat Madurai on the basis of first innings lead and moved into the semifinal of the P.R. Thevar Trophy inter-District under-16 tournament here on Wednesday.
The scores: At Chennai: Madurai 124 in 64.5 overs (R. Gowtham Vinith 27, L. Ganesh Lingam three for 15, P. Dhathojwal three for 29) and 101 for four in 32.3 overs (J. Arun Kanna 63, L. Ganesh Lingam three for 18) drew with Tiruvallur 375 for four in 90 overs (S. Harish Babu 239 n.o., A. Sulthan 63). (Tiruvallur won on first innings lead).
