KARAIKAL: Karaikal Struggle Group (KSG) staged a 12-hour fast here on Thursday placing a charter of demands apart from the specific demand of separate Union Territory status for Karaikal. According to S.P. Selvashanmugam, Convenor, KSG, they would wait till April 30, for the Centre to take a policy decision on Union Territory status. In the event of non-response, it proposes to intensify agitation from May.
