VISAKHAPATNAM: The brahmotsavams of Sri Lalitha Peetham in Lalithanagar in the city will be conducted from Saturday to January 30. Announcing this at a media conference here on Thursday, Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Mahaswamy 74th birthday celebrations committee president C.S. Rao and manager of the peetham V. Subbarao said that on Saturday, the birthday celebrations of the Swami would be organised in the morning. Homams would be conducted on Sunday and Monday and on January 26, Manidweepa varshikotsavam would be organised with special prayers. A poetry recital would also be conducted in the morning. The annual Sri Lalitha Kameswarula Kalyanam would be held on Jan. 28 evening and on Jan. 29, a literary programme ‘Bhakta Vijayamu’ would be conducted. On Jan. 30 evening, brahmotsavam meeting would be organised at the peetham premises, they said. Swami Siddheswarananda Bharati would deliver discourses on ‘Sivagadhalahari’ from Jan. 23 to 27 daily in the evening at Gurazada Kalakshetram in Siripuram, they said.
