Dry weather
NEW DELHI: Cold day conditions are prevailing in some parts of Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and in isolated pockets of north Rajasthan. They are likely to abate during next two days.
RAINFALL: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.
TEMPERATURE:
MINIMUM: The minimum temperatures changed little. They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was M01.2ºC recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 24th January 2010: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Night temperatures are likely to increase by 02 to 03 deg cel over the region.
