JIPMER staff plea

PUDUCHERRY: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Employees Union has written to Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare S. Gandhiselvan requesting to continue the existing grant of Hospital Patient Care Allowance and grant on a par with nursing allowance. The union also requested that outsourcing and appointments on contract basis at any level be stopped immediately. Implementation of new Assured Career Progression Scheme, and increase in special beds were among other demands.
