NEW DELHI: The former Foreign Secretary, Shiv Shankar Menon, on Saturday took over as National Security Adviser in the place of M.K. Narayanan, who has been named Governor of West Bengal. Mr. Menon, the fourth NSA, will have the rank of Minister of State, the same as his predecessor.
