House burgled

BERHAMPUR: Thieves broke into a house at Harihar Nagar area of the city and made away with large amount of gold ornaments and cash.

According to the FIR lodged with the police by the owner of the house, E. Murali Krishna, the thieves took away more than 60 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs. 1 lakh in cash. The theft occurred while the family went out.

They came to know about the theft in the afternoon.
