Stalls at literary meet

BANGALORE: The Kannada Sahitya Parishat will offer stalls to sell books and other commercial activities during the 76th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be held in Gadag between February 19 and February 21.

While the rent for a 10 feet x 10 feet stall to sell books is fixed at Rs. 1,000 for three days, the rent for commercial stalls is fixed at Rs. 3,000. For participants, the registration fee is fixed at Rs. 150, which covers food and lodging, said parishat president R.K. Nallur Prasad.

Details can be obtained from the honorary secretary of the parishat at Chamarajpet in Bangalore (Phone 26612991 or 26623584) or from the general secretary, reception committee of the sammelan located at Gadag Taluk Panchayat office (phone 08371 – 262364 or 267208).

Demand drafts for the requisite amount may be drawn in favour of either of these office-bearers, Mr. Prasad said.
