Double for Sai Praneeth, Sindhu

VIJAYAWADA: P. Sai Praneeth and P.V. Sindhu of Andhra Pradesh won a grand double in the Kolagatla Venkata Ramana Reddy all India junior ranking badminton tournament that concluded at the AC Subba Reddy Sports Complex at Nellore on Sunday.

The results (all finals): Boys: U-19: Singles: P. Sai Praneeth bt H.S. Prannoy 21-14, 21-17. Doubles: P. Sai Praneeth / Pranav Chopra bt H.S. Prannoy / Manu Attaree 21-12, 21-12.

U-16: Singles: Harsheel Dani bt Arsalan Naqvi 21-17, 21-12. Doubles: Arun George / R. Santosh bt Aditya Chopra / Shreyansh Jaiwal 21-19, 21-16.

Girls: U-19: Singles: P.V. Sindhu bt N. Sikki Reddy 21-10, 18-19 (retired). Doubles: N. Sikki Reddy / Prajakta bt G. Ruthivika / Poorvisha 21-10, 21-12.

U-16: Singles: P.V. Sindhu bt K. Maneesha 21-6, 21-4. Doubles: P.V. Sindhu / Maneesha bt G. Ruthvika / Poorvisha 21-17, 21-15.
