Field guide to identify marine mammals

KOCHI: The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi, has made a significant move towards the conservation of the marine mammals like whales and dolphins by bringing out a field guide for their identification.

The guide is the result of a collective effort by E. Vivekanandan, principal scientist and head of the Demersal Fisheries Division and his team members R. Jeyabaskaran, K.S.S.M. Yousuf, B. Anoop, K.S. Abhilash and M. Rajagopalan.
