SANGAREDDY: The district police arrested three persons - one in a fake currency case and another two persons in vehicle-lifting case. They were presented before the media on Monday. According to Superintendent of Police C.V. Sajjanar, Bharati Markur was arrested by the police when she tried to exchange a fake Rs. 500 note at a grocery shop in Pragnapur on Sunday. Suspecting foul play, shop owner P. Srinivas nabbed her with the help of others and informed the police. Investigation revealed that she was having 26 fake currency notes of Rs. 500 in denomination at her rented house at Turkapally in Rangareddy district. She was an accomplice of a person named Intiaz from West Bengal Vehicle-lifters arrestedIn another case, police nabbed two persons – P. Rajeswar and V. Srinivas- at Zaheerabad and recovered 13 motors cycles from the accused. According to the police, Rajsewar Reddy was lifting vehicles since January last year and so far lifted 14 two-wheelers. Also Srinivas of Mahboobnagar was involved in creating fake documents and selling them to innocent customers. These vehicles are expected to be around Rs. 4 lakh.
