TIRUMALA: Work remained disrupted briefly when there was heated altercations between the on-duty police and the TTD staff. Trouble reportedly started when two constables posted on duty at the Vaikuntam queue complex questioned the TTD official for allegedly allowing a ‘devotee’ darshan of the Lord skipping the queue lines. The police constables were not satisfied with the repeated appeals by the TTD staff that the person sent out of turn for the darshan was a retired TTD official. With the result the situation led to heated exchanges between the staff and the police. TTD Special Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy pacified them.
