Expo inaugurated

Ariyalur: Collector T. Abraham declared open the exhibition on the schemes and programmes being implemented by the Adidravida and Tribal Welfare Department during the weekly grievances day meeting here on Monday.

He distributed assistance to the tune of Rs.1.4 lakh under the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar marriage assistance scheme to eight beneficiaries.

He received over 400 petitions during the grievances day and directed the officials to take speedy action. R. Pichai, DRO, participated in the meeting.
