Stolen car recovered
CHENNAI: A luxury car reported stolen last week from Royapettah was recovered following the arrest of a suspect here on Wednesday.
According to police sources, H. Lee, Managing Director of a private firm, lodged a complaint with the Royapettah police that his car parked in a residential flat complex on Royapettah High Road was missing.
A special team formed to investigate the case followed specific clues and apprehended Kalairajan (26), car driver of another company official who happened to be the friend of the complainant.
Based on the input given by Kalairajan, the car was recovered, the sources added.
