Metro rail: clarifications sought from bidders

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) Limited has sought some more clarification from the eight companies/consortia which applied for pre-qualification for the metro rail project and asked them to submit the clarifications by February 3. The pre-qualification exercise will be completed in a few days after examining the clarifications sought, a press release by the HMR said on Thursday. The clarifications pertain to exact period and percentage of equity share holding in the projects indicated for technical experience; certification by statutory auditors regarding calculation of net worth; authority for issuing power of attorney in favour of signatories and the lead members; the net worth and technical experience of associate companies.The voluminous documents submitted by the eight companies/consortia were evaluated with the help of independent consultants and clarifications sought.
