Meeting on nala works

Hyderabad: A group of consultants were requested by the GHMC to work out the widths for the widening of nalas for two years’ flood return period and five years’ flood return period, so as to finalise the number of encroachments and the estimates to execute the works.

The meeting was held in the chambers of the Mayor on Thursday, and was attended by the Commissioner, Engineer-in-Chief and the consultants.

It was decided at the meeting that the designs would be finalised and submitted by NSS Associates on February 4 for further action, according to a press note.
