PUDUCHERRY: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Puducherry, will organise a two-day customer contact programme and ‘mela’ on Saturday and Sunday in front of its main office on Rangapillai Street. A release said that persons who register for getting landline connections during the two days would be given latest model caller ID phone with two-way speakers. Installation charges would also be waived, the release said. BSNL would also facilitate activation of WLL/Prepaid GSM instantaneously. Customers and ex-customers could also settle disputes regarding payment of broadband usage bill. They could also approach for reconnection of disconnected telephones. Booking would be done for all services available, the release said.
