Two killed, one held

Pollachi: A 70-year-old man and a woman were found dead at a coir mill in Thoppampatti near Negamam on Friday. The police arrested the woman’s husband in this connection. It is learnt that Jagan Ram (70) had brought a group of workers including Satyanarayana (62) and his wife Sushma (45) to the mill a couple of days ago. Suspecting Jagan Ram of trying to make advances to Sushma and that she was not resisting to it, Sathyanarayana reportedly stabbed the duo to death with a knife and a crow bar.
