Chauturvedi inspects railway stations

BANGALORE: The South Western Railway general manager, Kuldeep Chaturvedi, on Friday conducted the annual inspection of railway stations on Dharmavaram-Byappanahalli section of Bangalore Division. Gauribidanur MLA N.H. Shivashankara Reddy met Mr. Chaturvedi at Gauribidanur and emphasised the need for a new station building. The general manager inaugurated a computerised unreserved ticketing system at the nearby Someswara Station. He was accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager Akhil Agarwal. In Bangalore, Mr. Chaturvedi released Employees Provident Fund passbooks to be issued to fund subscribers. — Staff Reporter
