Aadhyatmika Peetham’s annual meet from Feb. 9

Kakinada: The annual meeting of Sri Viswa Vignana Vidya Aadhyatmika Peetham at Pithapuram is commencing on February 9 on its new premises near Chitrada railway gate (Kakinada – Pithapuram road). About a lakh disciples of the peetham head Umar Alisha are expected to take part in the three – day event, according to a press release. The Maha Mantra will be preached by Umar Alisha at 8 p.m. on February 9 and 10. Cultural programmes will be conducted for children on February 11. About 1,500 volunteers will conduct the event starting Tuesday.

The objective of the annual meeting is to spread the peetham’s spiritual philosophy (‘Oneness of God’) and spiritual knowledge that is acceptable to all religions. The peetham acts on three principles_ Sathguru, Maha Mantra and Sadhana to achieve world peace. It plans to organise mass literacy programmes in this year, construct a new ashram, printing of spiritual books, join child labourers in bridge schools and women empowerment programmes.
