Meet on female literacy

HYDERABAD: The Society for Promotion of Adult Continuing Education and AP State Resource Centre for Adult and Continuing Education are organising a two-day national conference on ‘Strategies for vitalising female literacy’ beginning here on February 9.
Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development D. Purandeswari will inaugurate the conference at St. Ann’s Resource-cum-Seminar Centre, Nagarjunanagar, Tarnaka. Representatives of universities, officials, non-governmental organisations, Jan Shikshan Sansthan are attending the conference during which papers will be presented at technical sessions group discussions held.
Its objective is to devise strategies and sustain the skills among women learners.
