CPI, AIYF activists stage dharna

Demanding the development of parks in the city, activists of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and its youth

wing All India Youth Federation (AIYF) on Sunday staged a dharna at Kandriga. General secretary of the AIYF’s city unit N. Sambasiva Rao criticised the officials of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation for according permission to the contractors to use parks as their godowns.

Mr. Sambasiva Rao demanded that parks must be developed in the city.
