Jobless engineer commits suicide

NEW DELHI: An unemployed civil engineer allegedly hanged himself at his flat in Munirka here on Sunday.

The incident came to light around 4 p.m. when 25-year-old Mrinal’s roommate Rajnish returned home and found his body hanging from the ceiling. Subsequently the police were informed.

Enquiries by the police revealed that Mrinal, who belonged to Jharkhand, was depressed as he was unemployed. The police have initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
