SHRC directive to SP

HYDERABAD: The State Human Rights Commission on Monday directed the SP of Anantapur to file a report on February 10 on the illegal arrest of more than 150 workers of Ultra Tech Cement factory in the district. Justice B. Subhashan Reddy, chairperson and E. Ismail, member, in their order referred to the petition filed by CPI leaders K. Ramakrishna and G. Obulesu, who complained that the arrested were not produced in any court. – Special Correspondent
