MADURAI: The Madurai Bench High Court Advocates Association on Monday passed a resolution condemning people who allegedly threatened S. Prabhakaran, president, Tamil Nadu Advocates Association, for appearing in a particular case pending before the principal seat of the Madras High Court in Chennai. The Executive Committee of the association urged the Director General of Police as well as the Chennai Police Commissioner to form a special team to investigate the matter and the arrest the culprits, besides taking necessary steps to ensure that adequate punishment was awarded to them. Meanwhile, the Madurai Bar Association resolved to indefinitely boycott the proceedings in the District Court complex here condemning the attack.
