Staff Reporter

WARANGAL: In a gruesome incident, a teacher slit the throat of a 12-year-old boy due to family disputes here on Tuesday.

Nagaraju, who works as a teacher at Kesamudram, reached the residence of his friend Yellaiah in Vikas Nagar in Hanamkonda on Tuesday morning. He reportedly asked for money from Yellaiah’s wife Meena Kumari and when she refused, he slit her son Uday Kiran’s throat with a knife.

When Meena Kumari tried to protect her son, she too sustained knife injury on hand. The boy was rushed to the MGM Hospital where the doctors said he sustained a serious injury and required an immediate operation.
