50-point wish-list ready

MYSORE: A 50-point agenda has been drafted for the comprehensive development of Mysore. It will be submitted to the Government for incorporation in the budget. The list of demands include developing villages around the city under the Greater Mysore concept; laying cycle tracks in different parts of the city to encourage the use of bicycles; taking up a survey for the metro rail in Mysore based on the projected long-term growth of the city; developing lesser-known tourist places within an 80-km radius of Mysore; improving the heritage building housing the Police Commissioner’s office; restoring and renovating the Devaraja Market; and daily illumination of the Mysore Palace.
