Hindustan Club in cruise mode
NEW DELHI: Hindustan Club inched towards the title as it recorded a 5-0 victory over City Club in the DLF-ONGC-SAIL DSA senior division football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Wednesday.
Musibau (3), Ajay Barthwal and Syed Ansari found the target for Hindustan Club, that has taken its tally to 24 points from 10 matches.
City has three points from 10 outings.
In another match, New Delhi Heroes beat Mughals Club 3-0 following the goals from Harvinder Singh (2) and Neeraj Pal. New Delhi Heroes has 15 points from 10 games, while Mughals has a solitary point from 11 matches.
