Viva Kerala enters last four

KANNUR: Viva Kerala entered the semifinals of the E.K. Nayanar Memorial Gold Cup all-India football tournament, beating Mumbai FC 1-0 here on Wednesday night.

The winner was netted by K.P. Aneesh in the 63rd minute.

This was Viva’s second win in three matches in Pool ‘A’ as the Kochi side took its points tally to seven points. — Principal Correspondent
