Special competitions for students

THENI: Special competitions for students of schools and colleges in the district to bring out the students’ creativity using computer tools will be held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Bharath Niketan Engineering College, Thimmarasanaickanur in Andipatti block on February 12, according Collector P. Muthuveeran.

In a release here on Wednesday, he said that all individual and team events would commence at 10 a.m. Ninth and tenth standard students would take part in paint brush competition and higher secondary class students would attend animation competitions.

Competition using paint brush tool would be held for 45 minutes and animation competition for an hour. All participants should carry their school identity cards or a certificate duly attested by the headmaster of their respective schools. Camera mobile phones and pen drives would not be permitted into the hall, he added.

The organisers of the Tamil Internet Conference planned these for students of schools and colleges in the State to bring out their creativity using computer tools. This conference would be held concurrently with World Classical Tamil Conference.
