Assumes charge

Triumala: M.K. Singh took charge as the new Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO ) of TTD on Wednesday. Speaking to media persons soon after taking the charge, Singh said that common pilgrims were top priority on his agenda. Besides, he said, he would put in all his efforts to ensure the safety and security of the jewels of the presiding deity apart from contributing in assessing their ‘value’. Singh succeeds P.V.S. Ramakrishna.
