Nearly 70 forestry experts from 16 countries and three international organisations assembled in New Delhi on February 12 at the fifth session of the Asia Pacific Forestry Commission to discuss problems of management and exploitation of forests of the region. The meeting has been organised by the Food and Agriculture Organisation and the Government of India. Delegates from ECAFE and the World Meteorological Organisation are also attending the session.
