Syntel Q4 net income up

CHENNAI: Syntel has reported a net income of Rs. 167 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, against Rs. 125 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year. The revenue has increased by 12 per cent to Rs. 549 crore from Rs. 104.70 crore. During the fourth quarter, revenue from applications outsourcing accounted for 75 per cent, knowledge process outsourcing 17 per cent, E-Business five per cent and TeamSourcing three per cent.
