Delhi, TN win

NEW DELHI: Delhi and Tamil Nadu recorded identical 2-0 victories in the cluster ‘VIII’ matches of the National under-21 football championship in Gurgaon on Friday.

Monu Chaudhary and Ajay Bartwal scored a goal each to help Delhi beat Assam.

In the other match, Tamil Nadu scored through R. Shankar and Venkatesh in beating Daman and Diu.

Delhi and Tamil Nadu will clash with each other on Sunday.
