Railway inspector held for ‘taking’ bribe

HYDERABAD: Sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Hyderabad, recently arrested an Inspector of Railway Protection Force, Anantapur, A. Ravindranath, after they ‘caught’ him accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from a subordinate. According to an official release, he demanded the amount for not issuing memo to the complainant. – Staff Reporter
