No mysterious fever

ARANTHANGI: Collector in-charge J. Raghavan has refuted the reports of spread of a mysterious disease in Seriyalur Inam Seriyalur Zameen village.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, Mr. Raghavan said that two special medical teams headed by I. Ravindran, Deputy Director of Health, Aranthangi, conducted screening of the villagers. Of the total population of 2,692, only 15 persons were found to be suffering from fever. The people need not get panicky, he added.
