MPP Vice-Chairman shot dead

VISAKHAPATNAM: MPP Vice-Chairman of G.K. Veedhi mandal Somalingam was shot dead by Maoists at Obulam village in the agency area of the district on Friday night. Maoists went to his house around 9 p.m. and called him out. They shot him dead as he came out.
