Man held for hand in burglary cases

NEW DELHI: A young man allegedly involved in burglary cases in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh has been arrested at Jamia Nagar in the Capital.

The accused, Murshid, purportedly confessed to his involvement in several burglary cases. About six months ago he along with his accomplices had allegedly stolen 5.5 kg gold from a cooperative bank in a village near Hyderabad. According to the police, he had also committed burglary in some jewellery shops at Hajipur in Bihar.
