Tihar inmate dies

NEW DELHI: A Tihar Jail inmate serving life imprisonment in a murder case died in a hospital here over the weekend after his condition deteriorated.

Thirty-six-year-old Sunder was lodged in Jail No.2 at Tihar following his conviction in a murder case registered at the Kalyanpuri police station in East Delhi. He was also undergoing trial in two other cases.

On Friday, his condition deteriorated and he was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where he subsequently died.
