Additional summer special trains announced

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will run the following additional summer special trains to meet the demands of the passengers during the ensuing summer season:

Tiruchi – Kochuveli (Weekly) Specials via Karur, Erode and Coimbatore: Train no. 0643 will leave Tiruchi at 5.45 pm on all Saturdays from April 3 to June 5 and reach Kochuveli at 6.30 am the next day. Train no. 0644 will leave Kochuveli at 4.45 pm on all Tuesdays from April 6 to June 8 and reach Tiruchi at 7.15 am the next day. Train no. 0645 will leave Tiruchi at 11 pm on all Wednesdays from April 7 to June 2 and reach Kochuveli at 12.40 pm the next day. Train no. 0646 will leave Kochuveli at 3.15 pm on all Thursdays from April 8 to June 3 and reach Tiruchi at 5 am the next day. Kochuveli–Chennai Central (Weekly) Specials: Train no. 0634 will leave Kochuveli at 11 am on all Sundays from April 4 to June 6 and reach Central at 4 am the next day. Train no. 0633 will leave Central at 8.40 pm on all Mondays from April 5 to June 7 and reach Kochuveli at 12.40 pm the next day.

Chennai Central–Kollam (Weekly) Specials: Train no. 0635 will leave Central at 10.30 pm on all Fridays from April 2 to June 11 and reach Kollam at 2.15 pm the next day. Train no. 0636 will leave Kollam at 4.45 pm on all Saturdays from April 3 to June 12 and reach Central at 10.30 am the next day.

Chennai Central–Ernakulam Junction: Train no. 0637 will leave Central at 11.30 pm on all Sundays from April 4 to June 13 and reach Ernakulam Junction at 11.45 am the next day. Train no. 0638 will leave Ernakulam at 3.15 pm on all Mondays from April 5 to June 14 and reach Central at 3.50 am the next day. Chennai Central–Madagaon (Weekly) Specials: Train no. 0671 will leave Central at 4.10 pm on all Fridays from April 2 to June 4 and reach Madagaon at 3 pm the next day. Train no. 0672 will leave Madagaon at 4 pm on all Saturdays from April 3 to June 5 and reach Central at 3.45 pm the next day.

Chennai Central–Mangalore (Weekly) Special: Train no. 0639 will leave Central at 8.40 pm on all Mondays from April 5 to June 14 and reach Mangalore at 1 pm the next day. Train no. 0640 will leave Mangalore at 4.20 pm on all Tuesdays from April 6 to June 15 and arrive in Central at 10.30 am the next day. Chennai Central–Tiruchendur (Weekly) Specials: Train no. 0609 will leave Central at 2.50 pm on all Wednesdays from April 7 to June 16 and reach Tiruchendur at 6.45 am the next day. Train no. 0610 will leave Tiruchendur at 12.20 pm on all Thursdays from April 8 to June 17 and arrive in Central at 3.30 am the next day.

Chennai Central–Shirdi (Weekly) Specials: Train no. 0677 will leave Central at 3.15 pm on all Tuesdays from April 6 to June 15 and reach Shirdi at 4.30 pm the next day. In the return direction train no. 0678 will leave Shirdi at 9.20 am on all Thursdays from April 8 to June 17 and reach Central at 12.05 pm the next day.

Advance reservation for the above trains is available, according to a Southern Railway press release.
