TV sets seized

CHENNAI: At least 22 colour television sets, meant for free distribution under a State government scheme, were seized from a transport company in Kothawalchavidi on Wednesday.

According to sources, the police, following a tip-off, raided the godown and found the television sets loaded in a mini-lorry. A special team has been formed to investigate the case. The source of the television sets and the motive of the suspects were under investigation, the sources said.
